Legal Career

Prior to establishing her solo practice, Coats Law Firm, P.L.C., and working with Brown & Jensen, Ms. Coats worked Of Counsel with a prominent Arizona law firm handling extensive bankruptcy matters. She was also a litigator for a North Scottsdale boutique firm practicing in various areas of real estate law, including HOA and construction defect laws.

As an undergraduate, Ms. Coats interned and subsequently worked for a well-respected wealth management firm. In law school, she obtained extensive training in alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Coats also clerked at the Douglas County Public Defender's Office in Omaha, Nebraska and a boutique firm in Council Bluffs, Iowa, practicing in the areas of workers' compensation and personal injury law.
